University of NorthWest Himalayas Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent CGPA (minimum 50% for SC/ST/OBC/minorities).
- Candidates holding an M.Phil. of regular mode 2-year duration are also eligible for University of NorthWest Himalayas PhD Admissions.
- Candidates having a 1-year master's degree after a 4-year graduation degree are also eligible to register here for Ph.D. intake 2025.
University of NorthWest Himalayas Ph.D. Admission Process
Step 1: Submit your form.
Candidates are required to submit the application form either online or offline before the specified deadline. Candidates are also required to upload or submit all documents from 10th grade to master's degree along with the latest passport-size photo and a valid ID proof.
Step 2: Entrance Test
All the eligible candidates have to appear in the University of Northwest Himalayas PhD Entrance Test conducted through online mode. The syllabus and schedule of the test will be sent via email.
Step 3: Interview
The entrance-qualified candidates will be called for the interview process. The candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET are exempted from the written test. However, they also have to appear in the interview.
Step 4: Document Verification & Fee Payment
After successful conduction of the above 2 steps, candidates have to submit self-attested photocopies of all below-mentioned documents and the first semester course fee.
